Vancouver Symphony Orchestra taps Dutch conductor Otto Tausk as next music director

An initial list of more than 200 names generated candidates invited to perform as guest conductors over the past three years. The orchestra's musicians were consulted during the evaluation of those guest conductors to narrow down the field.

Yale alums lead Chinese orchestra initiative

The initiative is led by Yale alums Vincent Accettola ’16, Paige Breen ’16 and Nicholas Brown ’16. Modeled after NYO-USA, the program will feature Ludovic Morlot, the principal conductor of the Seattle Symphony, and piano soloists Yuja Wang and Olga Kern.
