Stradivari viola expected to fetch £27m

Only 10 violas made by Stradivari survive, of which the Macdonald is the finest. It was last on the market 50 years ago when it was bought for the violist Peter Schidlof, co-founder of the Amadeus Quartet, who died in 1987.
