Houston Symphony Loses Its Concertmaster to the New York Philharmonic

Yesterday, the New York Philharmonic announced that it had chosen the Houston Symphony's Frank Huang to be its new concertmaster, a post he will start in September. “I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to hold this position once occupied by such giants of the orchestral world as Glenn Dicterow and John Corigliano, Sr.,” said Huang in a statement released by the New York Philharmonic.
