Karr lost control of his table saw, and it sliced into four fingers of his left hand. "The moment it happened, I immediately knew what I had done," Karr said. "I was obviously too relaxed and made a stupid mistake." His wife, Kathy Karr, the orchestra's principal flutist, who was inside the house, heard her husband scream.
