Danish conductor Thomas Søndergård is Principal Conductor of BBC National Orchestra of Wales (BBCNOW) and Principal Guest Conductor of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO).

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) appoints Danish conductor Thomas Søndergård as its next Music Director, fifty-eighth leader of the Orchestra’s Artistic Team, succeeding current Music Director Peter Oundjian from September 2018.
