Symphony hires chief philanthropy officer

The Winston-Salem Symphony has appointed Kent Wallace-Meggs as its chief philanthropy officer. He started work on July 1. Chief philanthropy officer is a new, permanent position for the symphony, which has a budget for 2016-17 of about $2.7 million.
